Neighborhood concierge and group enquiries

When you ask the concierge, your question, selected neighborhood center, date, budget and group size are sent to OpenAI with public source records for cited web research. Do not enter sensitive personal information. We request no persistent API response storage. Request limits use a daily rotating keyed network hash; raw IP addresses are not stored in the quota table. Counters expire within two days and are removed on subsequent requests. A temporary enquiry draft may stay in this browser tab for one hour across sign-in. Enquiries are saved only after sign-in and consent, with your account email, submitted brief and review status. Only this site’s owner and administrators can review them. They are not automatically sent to venues or other NYCity sites. Cross-site planning links carry the selected area, date, group size, radius and budget, but not your question, email or account ID.

Discovery and sponsored placements

Discovery searches published listings. When AI assistance is connected, your query and matching public listing descriptions are sent to OpenAI to generate a summary. Do not include sensitive personal information in a query. Without that connection, results are labeled as search matches. Sponsored placements are separately labeled. Placement requests store your email, proposed budget and dates. Administrators record payment confirmation and a reference for agreements settled outside this site; card details are not collected. Impression and click counts use a daily hash of network and browser information to deduplicate events. Discovery rate limits use an hourly network hash that expires after one hour. No raw IP address is stored by these features.

Visitor location

Location is requested only when you choose Near me. You can decline and select an area manually. Your selected search coordinates and radius appear in the page URL; copying or revisiting that URL shares them with its recipients and the site server. The location selector labels the nearest covered area rather than claiming an exact neighborhood boundary. Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap, whose servers receive ordinary web-request information such as your IP address. Directions open an external map service.

Operator location

Locations you publish are stored in the directory and visible to other visitors. Automatic location sharing requires an explicit start action and works while the page stays open. Stop sharing to stop new reports; unpublish the listing to remove it from the public directory. A stale serving signal expires after 15 minutes.

Browser saves and shared plans

Guest saves and stop order stay in this browser. Account saves remain separate unless you choose to import browser saves. A shared plan link contains the selected listing IDs and their order; anyone with the link can view those public stops. Removing a stop and copying a new link does not revoke older links.

Accounts and enquiries

Sign-in is provided through ChatGPT. The site stores your site-specific account ID with listings, saved stops and enquiries. Enquiries also store your account email and submitted message so the site owner can review them. These records remain until removed; no automatic deletion period has been established.

External services

Official venue, reservation and ticket pages operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Ride links open the selected provider only when you choose them. Transit and walking directions include the public venue address; this feature does not send your pickup location. Copy address writes the selected venue address to your clipboard only when requested. No payment information is collected by this release. NYCity editorial artwork is generated and is not a photograph of a listed venue. It is served directly by this site. Area photography is requested from Wikimedia and credited with source and license links. The selected area determines the image; exact GPS coordinates are not sent to Wikimedia by this feature.

Requests

Use the enquiry form to request a correction or deletion and identify the relevant record. The site owner can review these requests; automated email replies are not enabled.
